Might be anecdotal evidence, but boss has a 2011 F150 with the EcoBoost, in under 140,000 km it has been in the shop for 2 expensive fixes to the timing chain (huge problem with the early EcoBoosts) that Ford refused to properly, as well as the rear diff failing, driveshaft hanger bearing also failed.
