@rcrockett: I use my bus ride to school for this; just zone out and meditate, and it allows me to survive on an hour less of sleep every night than usual.

Well, Megadeth Radio is on almost constantly while I'm on the computer...and I'm almost constantly on the computer. That's probably a lot of bandwidth on my part.

...Twilight? Really? TWILIGHT?

1400 x 1050 .... is it just me or is that a really weird number? max is 1650 x 1080 but I doubt my graphics card could handle that, especially while gaming. System Shock 2 lags sometimes for God's sake.

@im.thatoneguy2: Oh, definitely. I've never had any trouble adapting to CGI in movies; the only time the effects have really taken me out of a movie was one where CGI, if it had existed at the time, would have worked much better; that movie being the first RoboCop movie, specifically ED-209. Masterfully done, but

@Bill-Lee: The bird things are called Fell Beasts. Kind of a generic name if you ask me.

CGI didn't create "worlds" of LotR; for example the city of Edoras as shown in the movie is, in the words of Monty Python, just a model. In fact, LotR represents exactly what I think should be done with movies like this.

I actually had an idea like this a long time ago; one of those large around-ear headphones with a mp3 player built in; all it'd really need are the standard shuffle buttons, and perhaps a small wired screen for navigation if really necessary that could dock with the headphones. #applepatents

this actually sounds really cool, I just wish there were some way to reorient the screen so you could use the side as a fretboard, but I guess the DS GH games showed that that may not be the best method.

That picture scares the shit out of me. The article reinforces that this guy is a dooosh.

9:22 Fahey - I don't think this is working.

This is exactly why I don't use Firefox; I use many, many different computers over the course of a week, and I don't want one of them to be so different from the others that I forget how to use it. Basically, in school and elsewhere, the computers have IE7, so I stick with that on my computer, although my version is
