Episode sucked, obviously, but as a liberal the outrage over Trump is a bit weird to me. I mean, look, he sucks, but I don't take him seriously and I don't know why anybody on the left does. He isn't going to win the Presidency and in some scenario where he does, he isn't going to deport a lot of people, and he knows…
I mean, I get blaming Pagano since he called for the Swinging Gate and it happened under his watch, but what in the blue hell was Whelan doing snapping the ball? The whole point is that you don't snap the ball.
I don't understand people who don't love Sarah Silverman.
You Greggheads are as delusional as Gregg. Gregg belongs at the Victorville Film Archive counting his VHS tapes, not behind the camera. Tim stuck his neck out and gave Gregg and chance, and Gregg blew it.
Wrong, Tim gave Gregg the opportunity of a lifetime and Gregg fucked it all up by adding hokey supernatural elements and giving plum roles to himself and that idiot James Dean and completely sidelining Decker. Decker would never ever work with or capitulate to terrorists. Just horrible writing. Tim was right to scrub…
It even managed to kill a wrestling company.
There's some good jokes about this story, but literally nothing is funnier than Kristol's earnest suggestion that Giuliani/Cheney 2016 would be the dream ticket.
Ha ha, Burl, you are always a delight!
I'm glad I'm not the only one. And it's not just her impressions, almost every character shes does is eyes bugged out and acted a bit crazy. Sometimes it works, like you said she's fine, but I don't see this whole breakout star thing others do.
Oh man, that's right, Finesse Mitchell was a person who existed.
He wanted to see that booty clap.
I consider myself pretty well-versed in SNL lore but somehow I was completely unfamiliar with Astronaut Jones, though in my defense I was only 13 when Tracy left SNL. I loved it and immediately went back and watched the original sketches, and they didn't disappoint.
You could tell how proud of himself he was when he came back in the tuxedo, made the alligator scene that much more satisfying.
It had one of my favorite tropes too where Nathan pulls himself further and further down into a rabbit hole after initially presenting a rather straightforward plan. The reality dating show element made me lose my shit.
All I know is that Season 3 better have more of the Bill Gates impersonator.

I always thought Baby Boomers were the worst, but then something like Fuller House comes along and you realize, nope, we Millennials are actually the worst.
That bit honestly made me laugh more than anything Kristin Wiig ever did on SNL. I still think about it quite a bit.
