Look! He's got the Eye of the Jew!

I sincerely doubt that Eastwood intended it to be pro-Iraq War propaganda. I remember he ruffled quite a few feathers back in '03 when he was doing press for "Mystic River" and referred to the conflict as a "big mistake" and defended Sean Penn's decision to visit Baghdad.

I'M TYPING AS HARD AS I CAN!!

Are they doing another shirt club this time around? i see the pages for the caps and hoodie…

Same here. I think it's a sentiment that goes for a lot of the show's characters in one way or another. Also, did the Sovereign get surreptitiously killed near the end?

Actually I did watch it. I'm gonna go watch it again. Completely missed him.

Honestly, I had the same reaction. I'm not trying to argue against media criticisms through lenses of race or gender in general, but reading it here I was just thinking "OK. We get it, everyone's pissed about the Oscars. You got a nice topical dig in there. Good for you."

*exhales*
Make it quick.

I'M RUSTYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Only gripe, so, so minor in a great episode: Where was Pete White? I love that albino sonnova bitch.

I want more! GIVE ME MORE NOW! That was one of the most beautiful hours of television I've watched in ages. ME WANT TALKING BOX GIVE ME MORE NOW.

"I LET YOU DOWN!"
"Yeah, you did."

"Is Doyle's Law."
"No no no, It's Murphy's Law. Who the fuck is Doyle?"
"Who the fuck is Murphy?!"

Ahh, old Carjack Malone! Forgot about him/her. Add both characters to the awesome list.

Thank God they opened one in Yonkers. It's a cinephile's oasis.

I'm going to take this opportunity to say that I actually really like Escape From L.A. Sure, it's essentially a west coast remake of EFNY, but I like the way they represent the differences between the cities' identities, i.e. everyone telling Pliskken "I thought you'd be taller" instead of "I thought you were dead,"

"…I was…"

Hahaha, the typo stays.

I actually just got around to watching the original series. I'm about three seasons into episode two, and I can attest that I have in fact fallen hard for Agent Cooper. I guess I picked the perfect time to finally get on board.

Holy crap I've just been waiting for someone else here to say they enjoy his films too. This is the closest I've ever felt to coming out of the closet.
