No :)

“You know me. You know my heart. You know my story,” Biden said. “Ask yourself: Do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters? Really?”

I definitely didn’t

John McCain was a horrible, repulsive man — a thief, a racist, and a war criminal driven almost entirely by spite who never lost his hard-on for bombing and killing poor people all over the world. He also tried to put Sarah fuckin Palin in line for the presidency. Naturally, he’s now a hero of the Resistance.

I sincerely wish the Democratic Party of reality in any way matched the Democratic Party of the Republican imagination.

Of all the bizarro responses I’ve ever gotten here, this is definitely one of them

Really stoked to elect Joe Biden so we can uh...give the police more money.

Oh they’re a bunch of Reagan Democrats by and large but that’s what anti-materialist white feminism’ll get ya.

A majority of the electorate, or a majority of the population? Our elections have by design never represented the will of a majority of the population; access to the electorate is tightly controlled (in fact we disenfranchise a wider swath of it than any other “democratic” country in the world), and the choices we

Well in order to enact radical change democratically you’d need to have a democracy in place, which we in the US do not and have never had, so the first step would be to build one. Whatever terminology you want to use to entail that process is fine but it seems inherently “revolutionary” to me.

Maybe it’s time for Democrats to stop working against the work of the left

Liberals when Angela Davis expresses heavily qualified support for voting for Biden: YASSSSSS KWEEN!!!

Well just to be nitpicky, DSA isn’t a Marxist org — but I think there’s a legit conversation to be had about a) sustainable housing and land use in a world facing climate crisis and b) the suburbs’ history as a white haven developed in tandem with US car culture and government entwinement with the auto and fossil fuel

Like lady I wish.

“just happens to be a tankie for all my Stalinists out there”

Well, aside from Trump not being particularly different than most traditional Republicans in any way other than the coarseness of his affect, isn’t your initial post a “what if”? Besides, Johnson (or Stein) taking away votes from HRC is not how this works — most third-party voters wouldn’t (and don’t) vote for one of

What I’ve always found strange about this argument is that it completely neglects the fact that in the absence of a candidate from their own party, libertarians vote for Republicans (if they vote at all). Without Gary Johnson in the race in 2016, you’d be looking at both electoral *and* numerical losses for HRC.

That’s why I said it was perfect — displays the party’s baked-in deference towards white supremacist power structures to a T.

Biden/Stalin 2020? I dunno, sounds kinda revisionist ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
