For me, tires have been the most noticeable and effective modification to my neon. Better braking, acceleration (from low speeds), and significantly better handling.
Things like this is why I believe in the death sentence. Fuck rehab, if you murder an innocent father in front of his own family out of anger because you couldn’t operate his car, you don’t deserve another meal, breath of air or glass of water. My condolences go out to his wife and daughter.
Did you even bother to proofread your own article? I completely lost interest after the first few paragraphs from the amount of typos and grammatical errors you made.
ESC is still at the top of worst features on my list, but autopilot is a close second though. It’s not more than lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control, but they market it like autonomous driving, which is why shit like this happens.
Don’t get so salty when you get fact-checked, Mr. Trump.
1) The Hellcat twins were designed and engineered in the US, built in Canada
I daily drive my 86, use it for long trips, groceries, and the occasional home depot run. I’ve fit door trim, bags of mud compound mix, 2x4's, and various other things. This car may seem small on the outside, but it’s pretty spacious with the rear seats down. Gets decent fuel economy, even when driven hard, and it’s a…
Read my comment one more time. I never argued that she lost the popular vote, she clearly won the popular vote. However, since we are a republic (not a democracy), that means the president is elected via the electoral college, with each state having varying numbers of electors depending on their population. This…
Did you drop out of school in the 3rd grade? The US is a democratic republic, meaning states with lower population densities get a voice. Without this, California and New York together would determine every election, while the other 48 would be left in the dust.
They only dominate when vipers aren’t racing!
Mine was a manual one, so fortunately I didn’t have to put up with the DDCT issues as well lol. I do agree that everything, aside from the turbo issue, was pretty great. Mine didn’t have any of the luxuries, but I still thought it was a nice package. Hell, even the exhaust sounded alright for an econobox! Hope you…
Lucky! I had a ‘13 Dart with the 1.4L turbo, and about 8k miles in, the turbo wastegate would keep getting stuck open. Three months with the issue, and still not fix from FCA, so I sold the car and upgraded to a neon!
To be fair, it’s not all their cars...
Perhaps you should go to a track and stop reading the comments from the armchair CEOs on this site. Hell, even my neon is faster through most corners than STIs. The WRX has a decent chassis, yes, but it’s about as balanced as my neon’s, with a 60/40 weight distribution while weighing 3,300 lbs. The BRZ has a 53/47…
The pre-detonation issue did sound a little preposterous to me, but the fuel economy thing also sounds weird. The torque dip happens at 4k RPM, but you’re never at 4k RPM during efficient driving...
Yes! It’s the fourth best car I’ve driven so far! Though it’s number one for street driving.
The dip is not in there for fuel economy, it’s there because Toyobaru had issues with pre-detonation in that rev range when developing the engine. It seems that there was not much of an issue with Tier 1 gasolines, but lower tier 93 gasoline would introduce pre-detonation, forcing them to pull spark timing in the rev…
Guess I’m crazy?
Not the same trans, the trans is a modified Aisin trans derived from the IS250, but with lightweight design choices. Same story with the rear axle, driveshaft and halfshafts. Car was designed with lightweight as a top priority, which is my favorite aspect of the car!
