Yeah, but Threshold has the ‘so bad it’s good’ thing going for it. This episode does not. It’s just bad.
No way would he play that role today. He can't lose a fight and he can't not get the girl.
Rock bottom for Voyager was Threshold, and nothing anyone says will change my mind.
Oddly enough, Elmore Leonard used The Rock as inspiration when creating Elliot. I believe he even referenced the eyebrow.
I liked when he played a fictional version of his own father on That 70’s Show (which might’ve been his first tv acting role, not including wrestling).

As far as actual acting goes, Johnson’s turn as the gay bodyguard in Be Cool is his highwater mark, in so far as he actually tried to play someone not himself.
