Ignore all of this as we already have an excellent series of televison shows that cover the founding of the Roman Empire:

Witch cock firmly in hand, it was an excellent series.

I think her side just has better people on it. Apart from Daemon. I love Baela, Jace seems alright. Rhaena is quite sympathetic. Rhaenys and Corlys are good people. I’m starting to really like Myseria.

That remains my biggest problem with the show. I guess we’re supposed to be rooting for Rhaenyra, but only by default. The character is so sad and ineffectual.  Couldn’t the show offer us something better than, “She’s not actively evil, I guess?”

...this message brought to you by the Guild of Millers.

Thrones devoid of anyone to really root for

Indeed, the producers of Spartacus knew they were delivering hammy, bloody fun and delivered it with aplomb.

In the words of Augustus, IS THERE ANYONE IN ROME WHO WOULD RATHER WATCH I, CLAUDIUS INSTEAD?!

Jupiter’s Cock!

I’d rather watch Starz’s Spartacus again.

I think the “nepo baby” discussion is overblown in almost every situation...except for the Please Don’t Destroy guys. Oh, one of you is the son of the guy who wrote Adam Sandler’s sketches 30 years ago...and one of you is the son of a current producer of SNL...And now you’re writing for the show and doing featured

Can’t relate. I’m always like ‘oh wow neat.’ I knew he was Dennis Quaid’s kid but not Meg Ryan’s, and I just spent a full minute marveling at how they have the same nose.

i think we have a weird reaction where we feel ‘tricked’ when we learn someone we like came from a hollywood family.

Exactly, if they can do the job who cares who their parents were. Jack Quaid is a talented actor and has the charisma, Wyatt Russel is great, Bryce Dallas Howard can act and direct, Sophia Coppola because a great director(just don’t let her act).

And, the New Cult Canon!

Ignatiy Vishnevetsky! I would LOVE for him to come back. Oh, he was SO savage in his reviews and in such a fun way. If I could frame that review for “Contract to Kill” and hang it up, I would.

Bring back Hatesong! (not kidding, some pure, unambiguous negativity hits the spot once in a while and nobody even got to “Under The Bridge” yet.)

Caroline Siede/When Romance Met Comedy or gtfo (I know she’s of a later AVC era, but her writing was excellent)

If they brought back O’Neil, I might actually believe our culture has a future.

My world of flops was probably THE series that I most missed. Very pleased to have it back and, yeah, Madame Web seems the perfect relaunch.
