Well to be fair I don’t believe Batgirl is fully finished.  Filming probably is, but from the stories I have read is seems the post production isn’t finished.

Guillermo says he has two families to support. We need to know more.

- So, does the fact that Shaw-nay! had the brain scramblies make him impervious to severe after-effects of the 428 hypnoses?

They’ve been around a very long time. Laszlo is 300 and Nandor is over 759. Maybe this is how gays “act” if they live a couple of centuries.

I love how Laszlo and Nandor are legitimately both bisexual and already very openly into men, and yet are terrible at “acting gay”.

season 6 actually had an episode where tabitha traveled in time and tried to prevent the assassination of MLK, which also dealt with the notion of riverdale being a sundown town. there was a lot of wild plotlines i couldn’t even fit in this piece!

I cant wait for Expendables 7!

There’s a layer of romanticism about boxing that’s more cinematic than the Affliction-wearing atmosphere of MMA (Warrior was good though!), as well as being a physical language easy for audiences to follow, with two people simply trading punches rather than trying to shoot the legs or sit in a 69-lock for three

They’ve tried to work in MMA and BJJ into movies, with varying results. I think Never Back Down is kind of the Karate Kid of MMA, or second-hand by way of Billy Blanks’ Showdown.

Yep. “Stallone implies that he would never let them make a Drago spin-off if he were in charge...” I mean, why not? If it’s a good story, what does it matter whether it’s a Drago spin-off? I don’t understand the logic behind Stallone’s objection. Which characters are worthy of spin-offs: Adrian? Mickey? Paulie?

its kinda funny how boxing as a sport has dwindled in popularity over the years but yet boxing movies are still a thing. i woulda thought they’d at least have updated to MMA or something

There is something funny about the dude who made Rocky V saying how he would never exploit the franchise for greed.

My first thought as well.

They’ve stepped up the CGI this season but the practical stuff (sets, uniforms, Isaac) all still look pretty bad. Which was fine when it was a comedy, but now that it’s trying harder to be a serious sci fi drama/action show, it feels light years behind modern Trek (or even 90's era Trek).

Except for all their ships looking the same, just different sizes, I think the production values on Orville are excellent.

Yepper. I should’ve known better than to doubt Seth!!!

Right?? I was absolutely blown away by yesterday’s episode. Just fantastic.

assuming she can score a coveted recommendation from her guidance counselor, Mr. Calvin (the one and only Christopher Mintz-Plasse)

I’m pretty sure its just because the prior Captain died and Kirk was just the loudest/most obnoxious one on bored so he gets to take over. Which bothered me until in Real Life the loudest and most obnoxious one became President.

Still better than the promotion schema in the JJA Treks where Kirk becomes captain of the Enterprise mostly just because that was his character’s job in the original show.
