I always got the impression “Tupperware party” was really just code for swinging.

The LaGuardia High School that Paulson graduated from is better known as the La Guardia High School of the Performing Arts. The school they based the film (and syndicated series) Fame from.

Well, she is in the entertainment industry anyway. He is adjacent to it.

Me too. The discussion was mostly “SHE ATE THE GUINEA PIG!!!!” and “She’s still kinda hot”.

Now if we can only get Ian McShane to do fast food commercials, then we have reached critical mass voiceoverdom.

Looks like a royal PITA for both cooks and servers.

I came here for that. Thank you very very much.

I go to Japan semi-frequently. My in-laws live in Nara Prefecture. (Due to Covid restrictions I haven’t gone there in the last 3 years).

I know, but I have seen it more often at pharmacies than conbini stores. Usually my go-to is unsweetened tea/coffee.

This comes right on the heels of Disney ninja’ing the shit out of Ron DiSantis at the last minute. The handpicked board of MAGAcronies set to govern the special tax district were left virtually powerless in the face of last minute restrictive covenants on the property

About the only thing which is difficult to find in a Japanese convenience store is sugar free soda.

Nope. I have it linked to my google pay account.

Here’s a great link about her creation. And yes, other people pointed that out too.

Also Vermithrax Pejorative is the first on screen dragon with only 4 limbs including wings. This was copied by Reign of Fire with CG. Plus its one of the only films to recognize that a human sized weapon, even a magic one is just too damn small to do anything to a big goddamn dragon.

In all fairness, the view of NYC from the Weehawken Ferry terminal is phenomenal

They already did Archie v. Predator in the first season with the grooming music teacher.

I figured the same thing after reading that part. On a side note I found the best way to watch the full version of it is as a TV program in 2-3 parts. Its episodic enough that breaking it up into separate viewings keeps it from flagging interest. I think part of the song is used in the beginning at a mechanic’s shop.

I would have put “Walk On” over any of the ones in the bottom 4. Its zippy and has a great finish
