You certainly seem to bring it up as one. But I watch stuff on those subjects as history or docudrama. Not SF/Fantasy escapist entertainment. 

I got the feeling Dick Cheney either was in on the joke and rolling with it or just doesn’t ever give a shit about the optics and lets it all fly. Cheney so evil, he got a man to apologize for being shot by him. 

I watched last season with a bit of trepidation given the rise of actual fascism and white supremacy in our government. Its one reason I am reluctant to get into A Handmaid’s Tale too quickly. Too much like the real life I am trying to escape through fantasy fiction. 

Not helping is that the “good guys” on the show are so bland and annoying (Juliana, Frank, Joe) as compared to “semi-good guy” fascist functionaries (Smith and Tagawa).

When white supremacists got the endorsement of the president. I believe the term employed to describe them was “very fine people”

Trump supporters self-identifying with Nazis on purpose?, are they just irony impaired, or both?

I think it would have been one royalty check too many for the producers.

When dark and gritty was a mess in Season 1, they steered into the skid and embraced their inner goofball. 

Legends of Tomorrow, the season 3 finale. It was a multi episode joke with an unexpected punchline.

Can I take a Mulligan here and just say I hit reply to a post in a confused manner just to get it out there.

My thoughts and prayers are for harm to befall the gun advocates who appeared there.

Arrow and Flash suffered heavily from having too long a season. The plots were stretched too thin. Too much repetition of character beats. Uninspired villains who got dull fast.

Of course this could mean cancellation for long in the tooth and declining ratings Arrow. Two powerless vigilante shows could get repetitive and redundant.

It takes millions of dollars to get the rights to use him. 

Really the only question we need an answer for is: in which episode will she meet the Legends and hook up with Sara?

That great combination of ROTFLMAO and Hell Yeah you don’t see very often.
