Yep, that’s the one. I watched the show when I was young and discovered Dire Straights back catalog as a teen. Brothers in Arms is one of my favorite songs from them (followed by The Man’s Too Strong on the same album). The way the instruments act as a counterpoint or response to the vocals is wonderful.
Reminds me of the ending of Justified. Understated, unexpected, a slight downer, and emotionally honest with its characters.
Just as a sign I am an old curmudgeon, I always associate “Brothers in Arms” with the Miami Vice episode “Where the Bus Doesn’t Run”. Classic weird episode of that series with a great end.
