I can hear the Nashville connection, in that most country songs today sound like the lyricist is checking items on a list — "cowboy hat, yup, pickup truck, got it, blue jeans, yeah, sixpack of beer, I'm done," and this piece of crap sounds like an attempt to apply the same method to pop music.
