I have not even studied film but...well, he starts off wanting out and by the middle he has embraced his Captaincy? That sounds like character development! *gasp*

Civil War was about as perfect as you could get. I'm trying to remember the last time Kathrine Trendacosta was happy with anything. She needs to replace her file photo with one of the goth kids from South Park.
As I write this, I am watching Mirror, Mirror. Always a good choice to return to the (incomparable) original.
Yeah, it was one of those rare kids shows where the writes were given enough freedom to really make it shine.
Prime was better than it had any right to be.
In theory I’d watch the shit out of a Optimus v Dragon fight. In practice there’s no way I’m wasting my time with anything Bay.
As if you’d be able to tell OP was fighting a three headed dragon. It’ll likely be just a mash of moving light and shadows.
Legends of Tomorrow should’ve named the episode OUTATIME.
Don’t read comics, so my choice comes from my son’s TV viewing....
I’d be perfectly happy if Pegg went the “Sulu’s always been gay/bi” route, but Takei’s been pretty insistent that Sulu was originally conceived to be a straight character. Pegg might be jumping through all these technobabble hoops so that both can be right.
He’s Bi you guys. Bi people exist. He’s Bi. In one timeline he had a long term partnership with a woman, in this one he did so with a man. He’s Bi. We don’t need to bring quantum physics and causality into this. He’s Bi.
Counterpoint - the success of The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow are a primary consideration for why Supergirl is moving to CW instead of being cancelled.
Regarding The Flash... I really am flummoxed at the decision to not simply use the TV series actors. The show is a roaring success and it’s clear that the audience responds well to the actors portrayal of the characters and the tone that the writers have set.
If we’re having a degeneration, can we just go back to #10 David Tennant’s Doctor.
Thanks for writing this up. I just don’t have the heart to complain in detail, so I take yours as a perfect proxy. I’ve been watching this show since 1980. And I’m fed up. Moffat is ready to move on, please. God, I miss a story with structure, character, plot and motivate choices. I give up. No more Nu Who for me.
Yes, actually. The Pandorica Opens when River ices one of them.
Wasn’t there another Nu-Who episode that had a Dalek say the word “mercy?”
In my opinion overall that has got to be one of the worst episodes I have honestly ever seen. Some good Missy moments are not enough to eliminate the god-awful and lazy writing, the utter crap characters in general, and once again endless filler.
