I mean it looks pretty straight forward. A console that’s also a handheld. No fancy controller gimmicks,no second screen, nothing that 3rd parties have to work around. As long as Nintendo supports it with games this time around it should do quit well.

Great strategy. If No Man’s Sky taught us anything, it’s that rabid fanboys will tear anything that gets published to shreds like a newborn puppy with a newspaper. Better to shut up until the game is ready for release.

Being cagey is the only thing they can do if their contract with Nintendo says they’re not allowed to say anything about the game. And Nintendo doesn’t do anything without multiple NDAs, so there is at least one contract.

Yeah, you’re right, nobody is likely to play NBA2K like that, I don’t know what Nintendo was thinking, it’s as if they think video game marketing always shows people playing games in improbable ways and situations or something

To this day, I still wish the game was more like Borderlands (story based) and less like the mulitplayer hero shooter that it is. You had the co-op, you had the borderlands style, you had the level-based gameplay with the breath of fresh air helix upgrade system. I played the alpha/beta, but after I found out that

The game flopped, in part thanks to a glut of hero shooters like Blizzard’s Overwatch

Called it.

Should have been making borderlands 3 instead of wasting time and money on this

If they managed to make it as fun as Borderlands which is another game Gearbox makes.

I’m with you on Colonial Marines, but just about all they did for DNF was get it on disks and shipped, and, while it was a disappointment, the quality can and should be laid at the feet of George Broussard.

I can’t blame the state of DNF on anyone but George Broussard and 3D Realms.

Not inconstant at all.

Battleborn is fun but I hate the way that most of the characters have to be unlocked, I don’t mind unlocking their mutations for skills as you level up each character but it is pretty lame that you either have to beat particular levels or meet specific overall levels to unlock. It really leaves you feeling limited,

To each their own, but between the fun of the Borderlands series and them saving the Homeworld franchise from oblivion (and now Bulletstorm!), I’m willing to forgive Gearbox just about anything right now.

The problem is that the Subscribe and Save prices are fluctuating and you’re not locked into a set rate each month. You could get a tiny discount up front, but end up paying just as much or more later.

I’m totally a non big city dweller myself, and no offense, but I’m at a total loss as to how pulling the emergency brake is the right answer for “We’re stuck in a car with a crazy woman about to erupt”. If nothing else, you want to go way the hell faster, not stop in place. It’s not like you can exit just anywhere
