I know. The point would be to show another squad (hell, maybe even the one from the first game) in the similar scenario, with updated Republic Commando gameplay. That’s hardly interference, and there’s more than enough room for interesting scenarios using the precedent set by the show.

It’a a big wide Galaxy, and we know the Rebellion has more than a few cells. It wouldn’t be hard at all to create a narrative that reinforced Rebels while not interfering with the show itself.

They should make a new one, and tweak the second idea. Set it around the same time as Rebels, and have a former Clone squad striking against the Empire.
