“His character has had fewer and fewer things to do with every appearance he makes...”

Hiddleston is probably done with Loki at this point as well.

Taken as a whole, the sketches weren’t the best of the season - but the host was so good and the musical entertainment was so wonderful that I rated it as one of the few best of the season in that I watched it in its entirety and enjoyed almost all of it.

I don’t think Glover would’ve enjoyed having Chevy drop in on his episode. They weren’t exactly friends.

So Dennis,

I got the 25th Anniversary version a few months back and I was also pleasantly surprised at how well it held up. Probably my favorite REM album - or at least a statistical tie with Life’s Rich Pageant.

IT FEELS GOOD!

I was eleven when Adam Scott was in this music video, and he looks better now than I did in 2007.

That was pre-inflation 1960s time. 90 minutes then is worth an hour now.

I’m all for this if it means Conan ditching monologues. I think his only enjoyment during that is when a joke bombs and he can make fun of it in a way that’s far, far funnier than the joke itself.

I don’t like this. While I have never seen a Steve Allen or Jack Paar hosted Tonight Show, I still feel that format must be respected until the sun finally fizzles out in the year three billion.

I’m ok with this. You can sometimes tell Conan gets a little bored with the really structured interviews and monologues. He’s got a really good production team and writers so hopefully this turns out well. He’s my favorite late night host since Craig Ferguson left.

This is an odd hill to die on, Matt.

I thought Kravitz wasn’t very noticeable and her vocals more supporting than starring (like a lot of features on Janelle Monae’s songs; I totally forgot she did a song with Solange until I was reminded in this review), but the “Everything. is sex. except sex. which is power...” bit sounds silly to me.

“Screwed” (the one with Kravitz) is easily a highlight!

If this album doesn’t turn Monáe into a household name there’s no justice.

OK Dirty Computer Mind would be the ultimate Radiohead/Prince/Janelle Monae mashup album.

This album rules.

Aukerman shutting down “Stand” five seconds in on last week’s U Talkin REM re Me? is one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a while. We’re now entering the phase of REM albums I have heard, at least, but only when they first came out, so they are frozen in amber for me. Hearing “Turn You Inside Out” for the first
