I agree, putting out a children’s book that will raise thousands of dollars for charity and probably hasn’t actually hurt the sales of the original book at all is really a dick move.

I’m still boring and think Kendrick’s the best of the new school, but Vince is probably the runner-up and I think he’ll end up being one of the more influential rappers of his generation.

I love Arrival and Predator, though I’m not sure how well they mix. Either way, you’ve piqued my interest (I didn’t end up getting to see either today, so it’ll have to be next Sunday, sadly.)

That episode does have one of my favorite reviews though, where the writer just admits to not having seen the first 5 minutes of the episode and carrying on with the review.

Picked up 2 vinyls this weekend, Lou Reed’s Street Hassle & Common’s Electric Circus.

Ryan what did we tell you about touching your co-workers?

I found a copy of Oasis’s The Masterplan I used to have, which I’ve been listening to pretty much all week. Noel Gallagher was such a great songwriter for like 3 years there, it’s too bad he wasted a lot of his best material as b-sides (“The Masterplan” alone blows away every song on Be Here Now).

I’m not a Logic fan, but last year he had a top 10 hit, a number one album and was nominated for Song of the Year at the Grammys so you can’t really say he isn’t taking off.

Between calling Voodoo a “crap ass album” and the implication that you have to be black to enjoy D’Angelo I’d just like to say I do not agree with this point.

I would say none of those have been going on long enough to write them off as failures.

God, this song and video are so gloriously bi. And actually sexy, which is becoming less and less of a thing in modern R&B.

“New no no! If you don’t like an actor in a TV show, he should die!”

Sour cherry? Mystery? Are we sure these aren’t the strains I bought last week?

You can sue over anything, technically.

You need a glass of water or something man?

Commented posted twice, and I can’t delete comments on Kinja (because why not) so leaving this edit here.

“In 2001, Jay-Z was the biggest and most beloved rapper in the world”, I love Jay-Z but Eminem, both commercially and within the zeitgeist, was much bigger in 2001. Hell, one could even argue Nelly was bigger at the time.

Beck & Kyle could play The Falconer’s sons.

They probably had six yeses, heard Arcade Fire’s newest album and took one out.

I’m still waiting on a Will Forte hosted episode. If only Last Man On Earth was an NBC show. Hopefully though that means we’ll get a Kristen Bell hosted episodes at one point (or Ted Danson).
