Most of the mainstream ones unfortunately. Kotaku and Polygon seem to be the worst. The Escapist is a standout among mainstream gaming sites as it actually allows discussion on GamerGate (even though they are more against it than for it) without just shutting down conversation like many of the other sites do. Yeah, there is plenty of stuff that’s been dug up on KiA. It’s happening all the time. For example yesterday there was a piece up there that Cara Ellison, a journalist for The Guardian and Vice, wrote 6 articles about Gone Home without disclosing that she was good friends with the director and lead voice actor. Cara

If you listen to the longer version with the lead in, you will see that it was totally on topic. It was the panel that brought up gamergate and MRA’s. They were specifically talking about and wondering about the disconnect on this issue, so I don’t think it was derailing at all. It was totally on point.

Because Kotaku is one of the main places slandering them. To paraphrase Total Biscuit, “Kotaku has investigated Kotaku, and found Kotaku innocent”.

Yeah? What are your thoughts on it?

A rhetorical question was asked, a badger stated they could answer as they were part of the rhetorical, then a civil debate was had where the panel agreed with many of the badgers points. Of course this is my reading of it, you can make your own mind up as the badgers recorded the whole thing (with some awful sound

This is the “harassment”. It sounds more like civil and invited debate to me:

This sounds more like debate and less like censorship to me:

The main hub is called “KotakuInAction” for a reason.

It was hardly disruption. They were invited to talk, and the panel agreed on many points. It was civil.

I think nature AND nurture both have a role in shaping us as people and as a society. Am I batshit crazy?

Their input was welcomed in the panel and the panelists agreed with many of their points. A civil and interesting discussion was had.

This is the “disruption”. It’s them being asked a question in the Q+A section of the panel.

Promoting AGAINST the censorship of men is not the same thing as promoting FOR the censorship of women. That’s a logical fallacy, and is very black and white thinking.

Make your own judgement. This is the “disruption” that got them thrown out:

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! It’s just the other half of tvtropes.com. The half people don’t really talk about these days.

Here is the so called “outburst”. I won’t point out the obvious contradictions to what is being stated in this article (like I have with others on here), as you seem capable of rational thought.

Short version where Badger first speaks:

The panel wasn’t the Mary Sue’s panel, so that is your first lie. It was called Women Into Gaming, The Mary Sue merely wrote an article on the expo.
They didn’t yell and holler, they were invited to talk and were recieved enthusiastically, so that is your second lie.

Nope. It updated March 4th.
