For 3 months? And if the League of Shadows' aim was to purge Gotham of crime and corruption I'd argue he'd already done that in his eyes.

Ra's did want to destroy Gotham- I just remembered and you're right. I found that the weakest part in BB, and wish the third act was just Falcone and Scarecrow. Nolan seemed to want Bane to be a type of communist revolutionary, and I would've preferred the absence of the Nuke subplot.
The problem with Bane was he was hard to understand and his plan was silly. I genuinely like that Nolan's first 2 batman villains weren't just trying to destroy the world ala Marvel
Scarecrow was superior
Huh? I don't get why Nolan gets this much shit about his fan following. Other directors also have blind followers(particularly Tarantino) but Nolan is just unlucky that some are younger and therefore louder online. It isn't really his fault, and he's the only younger director who can put his name on something and get…
Murphy was originally screen-tested for Batman and Nolan was a fan, but they decided to go with a bigger name. I do wish, however, that his Scarecrow had more screentime, because he was great in the second half of Begins and could've been the primary villain in Rises
If DC were smart they'd move Wonder Woman to November where JLA is and have George Miller do it in the slot reserved for Part 2. That way they won't need to waste time establishing Aquaman and Shazam
It might win them back the Ray Charles demographic
From what I read test audiences didn't like it, so WB was prepped for this. I also read they were considering replacing Snyder, which won't happen now with the box office results
Do you know the oldest lie in America, senator? It's that quality can come from DC.
Yeah, but I do assume that Justice League will need to have more Aquaman than Batman v Superman did Wonder Woman. Mostly because they do have to introduce him, and turn him into a psycho in order to fight the Snyder-verse
Aquaman is releasing after justice league 1 so Snyder still gets to define the character…
And that's still cheaper than actually producing a flop film. Fox did the same with Fan4stic so it's possible. I'm guessing it won't happen though
Filming starts in June, but it's still possible they'll cancel if this one bombs. I can certainly imagine it falls badly after a week, gets awful reviews and then they call it off and replace Snyder. They'll still have Wonder Woman next year.
So a child who has stayed the same age in maturity for over twenty years on TV will be succeeded by Lisa Simpson?
I heard somewhere that BvS test screenings sucked and Warner is considering delaying Justice League. It made me dream of one directed by George Miller or David Fincher. I then realised at their current rate they'd more likely give it to that idiot from Jurassic World who wants to shoot Star Wars from space.
Can we instead have Poison Ivy in Suicide Squad, and make it R-rated?
Not what I said, and I'm as feminist as anyone. My point still holds true, which is that this is almost certainly a gimmick to get a different demographic that wouldn't normally show up for this movie to show up. Plus it's opening the same weekend as Pitch Perfect 3…
This is literally the only way to get teenage girls to watch a World War 2 rescue movie I guess.
And The Dark Knight is still 10th.
