True! But then again, GTA 6 will have been announced and I’ll be happy about that.

Having worked for years in mobile gaming, I can tell you that EA has legions of data analysts and every one of their games is crammed with analytics monitoring your every action. They didn’t make this decision without knowing exactly who is playing this game, and it’s not you or people you would generally label as

I miss when you could buy a mobile game and actually enjoy the experience. Angry birds 1, pvz1 is what comes to mind. Too bad greed got in the way

It’s OK to like Lorde as an old. Isn’t she secretly a suburban dad living in a crappy town in Colorado?

That kind of lux just ain’t for them.

This is some Westworld shit

The worlds first digital serial killer...

It depends on the context.

If the game character gets a T rating and can be shown on twitch why can she not look literally the same way?

So, I’m a bit torn on this. If Twitch is supposed to allow this content, then yes, she did nothing wrong and should be unbanned. But there’s another side to this.

One thing that pretty much all company’s need to do is start punishing people for repeatedly using the report function in bad faith. Oh sure it isn’t going to stop trolls completely, bans are never 100% effective against these kinds of people. But it will make some people think twice before jumping on that particular

I’d go one step further. If Twitch investigates a mass reported channel and finds nothing wrong, they should lifetime ban every single person who reported the channel during the mass reporting period, on the grounds of harassment and trolling.

I don’t understand why Twitch even has a body painting category if they’re like this when it comes to people showing skin. I’m not crazy right? Like, body painting means you *paint your body*, so if you see the thing the entire category is about, why the fuck is it a problem? What are they supposed to do, paint their

Yeah but then you have to pay someone to moderate channels, and you can’t have that now can you?

It’s a poorly disguised fact that Twitch bans channels if they get a lot of reports without actually investigating the channel itself.

Quick note for anyone who wants to pull the “e-thots are ruining twitch” nonsense: Bodypainting, as mentioned in the article, is its own category on Twitch. This means that if you want to watch this content, you have to specifically look for it. Streamers like Forkgirl are not using their bodies to pull viewership

How has Twitch not learned yet?! If they suddenly get a ton of reports on a channel, it’s either getting report-bombed by trolls, or the channel is doing something super-egregiously-wrong.

Gotta say I would have never expected body painting to be something popular on twitch tbh, seems kinda boring to watch. In any case I don’t see why people would be mad at this for reasons that don’t include misogyny so fuck those people.

Just release FFT on the Switch plz.

This article is more beautiful than its subject.
