The humans of the game are more of a threat because they are forced to scavenge like animals as they have no weapon with which to fight back and take back the wider world from the fungus. A vaccine or cure would enable that and society to rebuild.

Sacrificing yourself for something you believe in, to make a difference in the world is not the same as suicide and to state they are the same to me is very insulting.
The only reason the Firefly’s wanted to kill her was to try to find a cure to save the rest of humanity. How is that the same as dying in the middle of…
After she’s dead, it makes no difference to her. So her dying for the fireflies’ goal would’ve just been as useless a death as being mauled by a fungus zombie.
Man. I wish I had the ass for just wearing a jock in public.

Where can I get the obviously awesome drugs you are taking?
the grays are very entertaining today
It looks like its White Reading Comprehension day. And I feel like a lot of them are going to fail.
I cropdust first class.
As gamers are, as a whole, a thoughtful, inclusive, and reflective group, I expect this change (one that in no way negatively impacts anyone at all) to be received with open arms and thunderous applause. Hooray for gamers!
Enjoy cohesive story’s and endearing characters and yet think XIII is “really good” despite having neither of these. 🤔
Cool, with 3 more levels I can play for about...*counts of one hand*...3 more hours...
I can’t believe the “It’s basically Star Wars” was wasted on FF II and not ascribed to FF XII, which is so close in structure that I’m surprised they were never sued over it. (slight exaggeration with the last bit)
Eh, apt comparison. I would say discussing ‘the best FF’ to be the video game equivalent to discussing politics at a family dinner; no one wins.
XIII-2 was the first one since IX that didn’t annoy me. It’s a Pretty Good game, even if the fighting with captured monsters bit does get a bit empty.
You’ve done it. This is the definitive hater’s guide to Final Fantasy. Drew Magary would be proud. (RIP Deadspin)
Weirdly, my biggest problem with FFXV is the design. The four main characters look like someone was playing around with alternate versions of Cloud, and I didn’t make it far enough to meet anyone else I gave a shit about. The worlds and environments seem like they get a little better as you go, but the opening section…
Funny enough i’ve hated different FF all along my life first game i ever hated was FFIX not because of it being more fantasy themed (played FFIII which turned out to be VI so the fantasy thing didn’t throw me out) but because i detested the design of the characters being so “childish” bare with me i was 12 or 13 lol
I…
