The Italdesign Aztec and the Fiat Multipla were both pretty drunk that night in 1992...

Reminds of something..

Also from 1992:

Riiight.

HammerheadFistpunch, are you a god for understanding what I wrote?!? I wish I could give you more stars for catching that quote. Oh, Listen, that reminds me, you shouldn’t leave your TV on so loud when you go out. The creep down the hall phoned the manager. You know what I did? I climbed on the ledge and tried to

So tell me why all those wealthy people oppose tax increases and spend lots of dollars lobbying for and supporting candidates who advocate for lower taxes?

It’s completely possible to do this. Oregon now has a road tax program called OReGO, a pay-per-mile road tax program that uses an OBDII dongle to track and charge for mileage. People using gasoline vehicles are reimbursed for fuel taxes they pay at the pump in exchange for paying the flat (1.5 cent per mile) road use

You forgot about ‘without representation’ and unfortunately all your friends and family keep voting for representation that likes more taxes.

As far as I can work out a 3100 lb Prius doesn’t have much different ground pressure from my 5400 lb Land Cruiser. Its hard to guess at contact patch but it may actually be pressing into the road with greater pressure than my heavier truck on account of skinny eco friendly tires. I mean yes its still more weight on

Why not just it make it income tax? A flat fee seems like just another poor tax. Stop screwing over the lower middle class and the working poor. A guy with two 80's corollas paying more then the guy with a Mclaren or a Tesla? It’s bad enough my taxes go to give people buying $150,ooo dollar SUV’s a rebate.

The big mistake was when they paved everything. Before that you could just blade the road occasionally and everyone owned a Jeep. Make America Dirt Again! (see, partisan debate commenced)

There are a number of solutions to our energy problem that have been around for quite a while now that we simply refuse to purse.

Newsflash, there is no mythical, magical battery incoming. Not for at least 100 years

Shocking right! ;)

So what you’re saying is, we should get rid of all of the coal and gas power plants and build a real 21st century power grid.

Sure, but in the Reservoir on a Hill versus quick-discharge supercapacitors discussion, we have exactly one of those technologies right now, and one maybe in the foreseeable future or maybe not.

I’ve seen the resivoior/hill thing. I still think that super caps that can charge and discharge super quick, backed up by slower charging/discharge cells might make either system more efficient.

Yeah, there are a number of ideas for how to do it. Some of them are already functional and just waiting for the storage need.

Nuclear,
