The Godfather is the perfect movie (the I Ching as Tom Hanks would say). Godfather 2 is the only time a sequel out performed the original (& everyone’s been trying ever since). Godfather 3 has some good moments (Zaza!!!) and isn’t bad if you can forget about 1 & 2 (which, unfortunately, you can’t).
