Didn’t you just describe “owner-coach” for Lemieux? Was he also a player-coach?

Meh, he only really got (his second) Yellow for the ripping it up, right?
Thanks. I found rockauto has the correct one for $16 vs the $65 or so for the chain stores.
Are a/c dryers pretty universal? or must I replace with some obscure more expensive part?
Dude, this is not the most interesting sports story of the morning. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/17/spo…
Just had a maintenance guy come out to repair the door in the shit-hole apartment I live in. I didn’t tip, but felt like maybe I should. I hate my property management company, and it took a week for the repair to happen when they told me 24 hours but it probably wasn’t this dudes fault. I am guessing he rarely if ever…
That argument would also make sense in the Phoenix area with all its snow-birds, but it did not seem to play out that way.
I actually misread your comment anyway. I did not think you were disparaging Spokane, I thought it was the opposite. The east side probably would not create that much in-person attendance (some for sure) but are part of the TV market—which wouldn’t be affected by winter storms (which have been non-existent these last…
I think its less of the climates themselves than the lack of hockey culture. They plop in an NHL team when there is virtually no youth hockey in the area and people just don’t understand the game. There are many warm weather climates that are regional hockey meccas, but it does sometimes seem odd and out of place.…
I agree, but not for a team that is ready to move now. Us east-siders are surprisingly big into hockey. See Tyler Johnson, Spokane native tearing it up in the playoffs for TB.
I’m sure they would want games in Perth too, just to ensure teams have to travel along way. It appears that Perth is building a giant soccer stadium scheduled to open in 2018 that would accommodate 60-80k. I think trying to put a stadium in Christchurch would be a boondoggle. Wellington is similar in size and only has…
Agreed. QC is more deserving of a team. I do not think they will get one until a few more teams are shifted west because of conference alignment. I suppose the NHL might be ok with a year or two with funky off-balance alignment if expansion plans are actually in place for Seattle and Vegas but if not, I don’t think QC…
I don’t prefer Vegas over Seattle, it is and will be a worse city for hockey. BUT the NHL seems intent on going to both Vegas and Seattle in the near future, so if the Coyotes move this summer, it makes more sense for them to end up in Vegas than in Seattle.
I kind of like the idea of a Kiwi/Oz shared hosting deal. I don’t know what their arena situation is like but they are a grown up nations that may be able to properly ascertain the risks/benefits of hosting.
1. The statute supposedly may apply because a former city staffer began working for the Coyotes after negotiations started but prior to the agreement being entered into.
I told this to myself for the longest time but I can no longer really use it as justification to use leather. Its the same logic of saying “I eat only ground beef because the cow is slaughtered for its choice cuts and the ground beef is just the left over that would go to waste.” Its part of why the cow was killed,…
Agree, usually the roasted malts distract me from the hoppiness.
how dare you use a picture of a 2002 for this article. HOW DARE YOU. We know beat ass 2002s are still selling themselves for $5k these days.
From this post, it appears that England may have a professional women’s league? How does it compare to the US women’s league
