Move to the midwest, where distance is measured in minutes (going 60 mph), and public transport is something that they have in big cities. There are exactly two cities in my state that even *have* bus systems, outside of school buses.

The time, the storage containers, the pressure cooker and other kitchen appliances... add up the cost of all those things, bub, and then tell someone working min wage (not you and your wife, I’m assuming) to take out money from their already stretched budget for that equipment.
