June 20th.... (tentative)

Yes, Monument Valley is what I meant.... Forgot the full name.

In some sense it’s kind of a play on a 4D game (as much as you can in a purely 3D environs) where the landscape itself “transforms” dependant upon your point of perspective. What was a blocked path in one view becomes unblocked when you move the camera. It’s sort of like playing in an M.C. Escher painting, if you will.

Not arguing that it wasn’t ill considered, just saying that “choosing any one of a thousand other ‘edgy’ phrases” might have made things any better doesn’t really work. If you’re being “edgy”, by pure definition, you’re intending to upset someone, so saying that he should have just chosen someone else to offend

What is it with the clocks? For some reason, nearly every clock in Final Fantasy VI has an Elixir in it. Is this an inside joke? Some sort of gag I’m not getting?

Yeah, he could have, and had he...... Someone somewhere would still have been pissed off about it. Not saying that I condone the message he chose, but a stunt like this is like throwing a boulder in a minefield and not expecting one to explode.

Headline: Uncle Joe makes horribly racist comments over dinner. - Reaction: That’s Uncle Joe for you!

Review seems spot on to me. Been following the game for a long time, obsessively played and completely cleared all of the demos... Just waiting for Tuesday.... Is it Tuesday yet??

Known about stuff like this for a long while. Do all my preorders on Amazon if I really want a physical copy, but most of it is Digital now. I’ve also stopped going into their brick-and-mortar stores because I like to browse and buy what I want, not get sold what they want me to buy.

2TB upgrade for my PS4 was the best investment into the system I’ve made since buying it, IMO.

In a Cultural Anthropology course I took in College my professor raised the following point: “If you want to get an idea of the heath of a civilization the first thing you should do is look at their roads. A thriving civilization will always maintain their roads, as these are key to the continuation of commerce. A

Honestly I think it’s great that the Vita is getting some of this love, though I don’t know if even a SE Final Fantasy game will be able to save the platform in the end.

The game played like YuGiOh in some small ways and like Triple Triad in other ways as well. You had a Card attack power, followed by an Attack Type -Physical, Magical, Flexible and Assault... (and yes, I looked at the Wiki because I didn’t remember exactly what they were, it’s been a number of years since I played

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion on which one they like better. I said in my own subjective opinion Tetra Master is better. Didn’t say anything about it being objectively better or worse. If you like Triple Triad better, that’s great. If you like Tetra Master better, that’s great too. Play what you like.

Yeah, completely agree. The game and story were good, but Tetra Master was amazing. (Also far better than Triple Triad, IMHO.)

-Double Post-

“In other news, one game studio has failed to learn the lessons presented by the failings of another game studio. Many are outraged but none are surprised.”

While it may take some time for SE to get back to you with a comment, it should be noted that Naoki Yoshida has already responded to the XIV community on the Official Forums in regards to this matter.
