What I'd really like to see is games from other platforms on this as well. I'd be most impressed if Sony added old Xbox, Nintendo, Sega, etc. games to be played remotely from their devices.

A lot of people with PS4s never had a PS2 or PS3 so now they get to play those games without buying another console. As a convenience measure, a lot of people can't afford the space or clutter to keep one of every console in the house so "repurchasing" is more like paying for convenience.
Sounds brilliant, what's the problem? If you play for free and love it, you can purchase the game digitally and keep playing yourself.
Have you ever worn a nice expensive suit? There's nothing in the world more comfortable, more empowering than a quality tailored suit. There's a reason people pay good money for them — they're well-made and fit well.
If PC people could come up with the guaranteed revenue stream that console publishers offer, I'm sure they'd get their ports.
I bet you don't see any point in replying to a comment about rapists unless you're a rapist either? Like come on, that's one of the least logical things I've ever heard.
With consoles having better connectivity and built-in storage now, we're starting to see some MMO progress there. I personally prefer running FF:XIV on my couch with a full sound system than at my PC desk.
To be fair, the last good RTS I remember playing was ages ago ... I mean a decade maybe. The RTS was still alive and well but the games weren't that good, weren't properly balanced, etc.
Feel free to go discuss that on http://english.stackexchange.com/ ... I won't bother tearing your theory to shreds here.
I played Wolfenstein when I was 15 and Doom at 16. Most of my friends did too. These video game ratings are cool and all but its a vast oversimplification to think that *no* children should play violent games.
As a Canadian, I will disregard that ... :/
I grew up with Super Mario 1 and 3 (2 shouldn't exist) and then Super Mario Land ... but when I finally played the Donkey Kong Country series, Super Mario lost its hold on me. Those were fantastic games.
Zelda and Monster Hunter are the only reason to purchase a Nintendo console for me ... I wish they'd just make Zelda for other consoles and save me the pain :)
I was born in 1989. This puts me right in the age group for which id Software's 1992 classic Wolfenstein 3D stirs no deep emotions. Doom, the landmark shooter that id released the following year, triggers no feelings of nostalgia either.
Imagine with me if Naughty Dog made an open world Last of Us MMO ...
Because "we all" are idiots.
I really wish they would've patched the boss fights out of Deus Ex ... skippable like cut-scenes.
For me the driving made it a discount purchase at best. In a game like this, I want my car chases not to feel like a 90's arcade game. I don't need Gran Turismo, but cars should not feel like sponges on roller skates.
Actually pretty much by definition, once they hit the dictionary they are considered correct. English does not have a language institute (as French does) and so is based almost entirely off common usage. Once enough people believe "ain't" to be a word, it simply is.
There is absolutely no situation in which pronouncing 'asked' as 'axed' is correct usage, but as a local dialect it may be perfectly acceptable. We're discussing correctness here, not whether being right all the time is worthwhile.
