I went to the Sounders vs. Timbers game at CenturyLink (still not used to calling it that) last year, and the 1,500 or so Timbers fans were chanting louder than the 30,000 Sounders fans.

He's probably the best choice right now outside of Mourinho (Real is leading Barca in the La Liga standings, I don't see him leaving any time soon). It seems like the vast majority of fans and players want to see the job go to an Englishman.
Hopefully Redknapp takes the job. He leaves, and Spurs sink back down to mid-table where they're supposed to be. Arsenal go back to the top four, and all order is restored in the universe. Oh, and my brother (an insufferable Spurs fan) will finally have to shut the fuck up about being in third place.
