Aw man, I'm still sad that we'll never get to play that one.

The setting does look cool. Is it made by the same people as Shadow of Mordor? The nemesis thing could actually be pretty cool in an organized crime setting.
Can anyone explain the Mafia III hype train to me? I was only vaguely aware there was even a Mafia I and II, and the videos that keep coming out make it seem like a pretty standard GTA clone.
I have a copy in the mail, and you fine people have made me very excited for it.
The reviews have me intrigued, but I still haven't gotten around to Jessica Jones. Is that required viewing before starting on this?
Titris sounds like what they'd call it in New Zealand
Favorite line of the night. I googled Dutch Hookbill (a real bird!) after the episode and couldn't stop laughing.
Keep in mind we also have a Mariners-shaped abyss in Seattle.
Dungy has devoted a lot of time and money to "pro-family" causes too. He's a certified dick.
I don't understand how anyone can be undecided in this race. We say that every election year but it's somehow even more polarized this year. Either you're ok or with bigotry or you're not. Who's on the fence about that?
Seahawks fans! Would you say it's time to crack open each other's skulls and feast on the goo inside?
I really, really don't want to watch the debate. I'm hoping I can be strong and avoid it but I'm already mad at myself for tuning in.
And they're really pushing the Color Rush thing on TNF this year, which makes the whole thing feel even more gimmicky.
How many of us excitedly started Gronk, only to be met with a goose egg? *raises hand*
That's a cool framing device, and also something I never knew about so I've already learned a ton.
You (and many Goodreads reviews) convinced me to give it a shot, since the Kindle edition was readily available from my library. I read the first chapter and a half and am into it so far. Definitely a lot more engaging than most history stuff I've read / tried to read.
How textbook-y is SPQR? I'm definitely interested in the subject matter but I usually find nonfiction too dry for my tastes. I have a copy of I, Claudius on my shelf so I might get my ancient Rome fix from that instead.
I just finished and loved it. I want to read the Border Trilogy next, but I'll need something more breezy to cleanse the palate first.
Is he dead? Have the current owners tried to work something out, assuming they're less shitty?
I don't understand why the Titans couldn't have left the Oilers name behind, as with the Browns in Cleveland (and hypothetical Sonics in Seattle, if that ever happens).
