Like many people here, I watched the show and enjoyed it even though it annoyed me. I may even watch it again - what’s wrong with us?! I think what bothered me the most was that Carrie was the writer, but she was the least clever of all of them. Her puns usually didn’t make any actual sense, but she said them anyway…

I remember kids saying the “you can’t catch me because you’re fat” and “you smell like [insert meat]” jokes when I was little. She’s saying cliched jokes of asshole children 25 years ago.

She’s like a suburban high school boy who just discovered weed and thinks it’s the coolest thing so he decides he’s going to be known as the “weed guy” and buys marijuana themed medallions and clothes IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW. But everyone else has also tried it and is like “just be cool man.”
