ehhh just because they died doing something incredibly stupid and reckless doesn’t mean they weren’t people who also had positive qualities,  as well as loved ones that’ll miss them. Two things, can be true, after all. A fatality can be both a sad event, and a product of incredible stupidity.

I know they’ll never do it but I wish they did a spin on the Uniforms from ‘The Cage’ and ‘Where No Man Has Gone Before’ the turtleneck pullovers just seem much more ‘Naval’ if you know what I mean. Also the Turtlenecks are a nice little connection to the TOS movies era

When Canada starts looking like the United States, western civilization is over.

Maybe not Hasbro, but we absolutely will see a new $200+ Lego set announced sometime this year.

Let’s not forget Mai Yamane. Another one that stays on my playlist is Gotta’ Knock a Little Harder. I have left instructions with my heirs to play Blue at my wake.  (No funeral for me!)

Oh man, Rise is one of Yoko Kanno’s best collaborations. They lyrics are great. I agree it’s better than the original GitS: Stand Alone Complex intro, which itself isn’t bad. Rise and Velveteen are two of my favorite Yoko Kanno pieces. It’s just a pity that GitS: 2nd Gig isn’t written as well as Stand Alone Complex.

Man, where to start?

Babylon 5 kinda blazed the trail with season intros that varied by season. My favorite of the bunch was Season 3.

You can’t talk about show intros without bringing up Cowboy Bebop:

Goddammit! I really, really liked Bebop. I absolutely wanted more. God damn Anime Master Race Purists shitting on the show. Netflix did a great job, overall, and Bebop deserved another season at least.

YES! As much as I love the Bebop soundtracks, I’d say I love the Stand Alone Complex soundtracks the most.
