It’s a difference in end goal. Rich people register their supercars in Montana to avoid taxes. The Vermont registration method is most usually used when the vehicle being registered doesn’t have a title. You still pay 6 percent tax to Vermont, so registering an expensive supercar there would be a bad idea.
I guess for some clarification, I’m doing this mainly so I can move the bus around while I both work on converting it and upgrading my license. Who knows how long the conversion process may take, so it’s nice that the bus isn’t stuck where it is until it’s either finished enough or I upgrade my license class.
