You do realize that CO2 systems are 1040 ish PSI right? Have you ever worked around pressures in excess of 200 PSI?

Yup even a mild CO2 system requires like 71 bar (1040 psi).  that is literally 10x the pressure the R134 systems operate at.

I am pretty sure you are talking like a 10x change in pressure and pressure systems usually have a exponential curve on costs to contain pressure. Remember the additional cost of diesel engines is to contain the pressure of the explosions and fuel delivery systems.
