I think Jadzia was clearly a cis-woman. Dax on the other hand sort of transcended gender. Together they certainly have some similarities to a trans-person, but I don’t know if I’d say that it made their identity essentially trans. If DS9 were still going you could certainly use the character to explore some of those…
