What works in comics where motion is static and character have whole conversations in the space of punch simply doesn’t translate to a medium with actual movement. Even animated you saw how utterly superior The Flash was to nearly everyone.

Wouldn’t matter. Unless that person could likewise react at superspeed they’re still getting knocked out. After all, the light from the gun muzzle reaches your eye before the bullet does, but that doesn’t mean you can dodge the bullet. I think what you want is basically a precog who sees how The Flash will beat him…
To be honest he’s more companion material.
We’ve gone over this before. It’s fine for the next Doctor to be any sex, any age, any colour, any whatever. As long as they’re British.
Not to be pedantic, but Cyborg’s not in the JLU cartoon, unless you’re talking about the newer movies? And it’s only been his origin for a few years, it’s not his traditional one.
Alternatively, it could be the *band* Steppenwolf and it would not surprise me at this point.
I’m not sure what’s more impressive...that Dame Judi Dench was convinced to grill Daisy Ridley or that Daisy had the steel to withstand her.
When you are making a movie and your kid just got photoshop...
Actors saying they wanna play roles doesn’t mean much but, Rosario Dawson for live action Ahsoka!
I believe they said the Defenders would only be eight episodes.
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa.
Taser-face?
Yes, He Really Is Professor X’s Son
He does work well as a solo character, but his supporting cast (Misty, Colleen, Hogarth) helps a lot. Go pick up the first volume of The Immortal Iron Fist by Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction and David Aja. It made me an instant fan of the character, and is why I’m so excited for this.
Defenders is 8 episodes.
Claire Temple is too good for this world.
Why can’t we just let Jean Grey be a badass omega level mutant for awhile without the Phoenix. Please?
The second last paragraph gives me so much hope. Not that I didn’t have high hopes for the sequel to my favourite Marvel movie, but it’s nice hearing a director who understands that sequels don’t need to be about topping the first one.
Oh I hope it merges with the Arrowverse (sigh really do need a better name for that) that universe could use more actual powered heroes - if they make another speedster or something the speedforce would dry up.
Just want to chime in to say I thought the show’s title sequence was great.
Can we already demand a cross over with Marvel’s Netflix shows just so we can see this? PLEASE?!
