Agree. Save the unworthy stuff for the comics. Can’t justify it here even with Loki appearing as Odin. We don’t need another forced redemption or ‘finding himself’ character arc.

I would have. I’m a big fan of The Dark World, even though most people don’t seem to like the trippy crazyness of it.

Smallville. Whatever potential the show had it quickly abandoned and never looked back.

I watched every goddamn episode of Heroes: Reborn because I wanted it to work so bad.

Totally agree. Made it two and a half seasons before asking myself “what the fuck am I watching this for?”

I’ve never watched anything I didn’t enjoy to completion, but the one that stands out as the show I was way too devoted to and stuck with too long was Lost Girl. I enjoyed season 1, but it became really, really unwatchable in season 2 and 3, and I finally gave up at the end of the third season.

As a (very) occasional reader of the comics, the thought of ANYBODY having sex with Ms. Grundy is very disturbing. I gather that they made her younger on the show, but the mental image will not die.

I do not envy these people. It’s raw and sensitve as hell and no matter what choice they make it’ll be the wrong one to a number of people.

And no kidding, that movie has Doug Jones as Slendy itself. Try to top that.
