Yvonne single-handedly made it okay for me to love blondes again. After like 20 years of not loving blondes at all.

You totally beat me to it.

The movies have been out long enough; I guarantee it already is.

Well, there may have been some element of salaciousness, but there's another factor you may have overlooked: The movies (particularly the first one) made an effort to step up the realism, to make the powers a little more practical and plausible (such as the shape and placement of Wolverine's claws; it makes so much

I've already bought and read it, so I won't be taking advantage of this deal. But any who haven't, should.

I sort of agree. The dude should've taken a permanent level in badass. But you do see some of that in "A Good Man Goes to War". And he even mentions that he can remember that time, but shuts it away because it's not needed anymore.

"Have you ever BEEN with a warrior woman?"

Or maybe they just never watched anything previous to the current thing, like me. I'd give most of those answers — Rose is my favorite companion (although I gotta admit: except Donna, I've loved all of the companions I've seen); the show IS a cultural icon. But my favorite monster is the Silence. If only they hadn't

Sulfuric? You know, some parts of LA — specifically around the LA River — have been really stinky the past week or so. Coincidence?

Chuck not having the intersect makes this season a MUCH harder sell for me. They'd better have a lot of Sarah in skimpy outfits to make up for it, damn it. Because I don't buy Intersect Morgan. I just do not.

I agree with you on that. Well, in part. There's room for moody supers. But not for Superman being moody. He should be the antithesis to Bats, the yin to his yang. I really hope the moviemakers fucking get this someday.

Uh... it was kind of special and innovative AT THE TIME. There's a few movies like that, from that same period, that had a sort of perfect, dark atmosphere. The Crow was one of them. The tragic death was tragic, but I don't know that it was a primary draw.

Um. I knew I had nipples. Sort of hard to not know about those, actually.

I am in full agreement with you there. The overprotectiveness of modern parents boggles the mind.

I like Kim Rhodes. She may be 10 years my senior, but I'd still totally date her.

A bit of graphic artist nerdity/nitpickery: Not loving their font usage on that Doctor Who poster. Seriously, they've got a perfectly good logo. They have to turn around and use that bland-ass POS?

I'm like 99% sure that's not actually Hathaway.

I, for one, am not complaining.

Because DC/WB's two biggest properties (or at least way up there among the biggest) are Batman and Superman. Further, Superman is one of the most recognized and recognizable icons on the planet. Seems to me they're just trying to get it right, and I can't really blame them. Especially when the Marvel Studios movies

Well, Butcher could always add new ones — but yeah, I figure that's unlikely to occur. Too much has already been invested in these characters and the relationships.
