@AngriestGeek: You imply Firefly's failure had anything to do with her, or the rest of the cast, or the quality of the show.

@AngriestGeek: Not to be contentious, but if you're referring to V being "greater success", you invalidate your whole argument.

@I_Like_TDs: I agree with you that she looks better with long hair.

@Dented: "Leery" is also acceptable, but as both mean "cautious or wary", either could work. And I believe "chary" is a Commonwealth word more than American.

Interesting idea in theory. I can't help but be sort of chary about it in practice. But then, that's me IRL as well.

@Levi-Athens: I "like" how his hat has a pom-pom.

@Hotscot: Thanks! I had an idea a while back that all of Superman's abilities could be explained as psionic in nature — except the super-speed was a bit of a stretch. When you mentioned a similar concept, definitely got my attention. But I have to admit, I do kind of like the explanation in your link.

@Hotscot: If you can find that article and send me the link, I will be forever in your debt.*

@Pope John Peeps II: Yeah I am so, so tired of seeing people miss the points you bring up. I'm also so, so tired of the Donner films being such a BFD. Get over them, people, seriously!

@SteveZim1017: That last line in your original post. Yes.

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: Chances are, you'd be balls-out amazed how skinny actors are in person, even if they look perfectly curvaceous on screen. Mary Winstead is a fucking stick. Which I would not have guessed from Death Proof, Scott Pilgrim or anything else I've seen her in.

@saracen25: Haha that can happen even when you're using it the standard way. XP

@Wookielifeday: Pastafarian. Have you been touched by His Noodly Appendage?

@saracen25: Sure, depending on what drugs s/he gave you. LOL

Seems like this boils down to mental condition affecting the physical. I dunno, I see articles like this and go, "Yeah, I don't know how that'd be possible if we were just meatsacks."

So were the typos iatrogenic (so to speak) or inherent?
