@TheFirstBardo: I think I should point out that the word is "scrip". Because I'm a total asshole that way. (Sorry)

I am so fucking sick of the Joker.

Well, I'm rather an expat myself, and I'm also pretty unfamiliar with the Scott Pilgrim books (I'm considering changing that, although I'm not terribly stoked about that art style). However, the article makes a pretty good case for it, and for the actors he references.

@CodenameV: Dude...no. As badass as Wolverine is, no. In no way does he personify any Canadian ideals than being tough.

@RenRen: It does paint a rather inaccurate picture of what to expect in interpersonal relationships (this is another problem I have with these books, and books like them).

@Annalee Newitz: I don't believe I am at all qualified to comment on that, but I do believe chubby Rogen deserves props for helping padded men get laid more. *grin*

@RenRen: And so many of the fans seriously can't understand why we view every part of this series with abject horror.

@fmhypo: Now I'm pretty sure I'm set for nightmares through the end of the month. Thanks.

@TheHeadlessCorpseofRogerWorkma...: Yeah, not what I'd call a gritty reboot... *grin*

@Brodka: regrettably: Wow, nice to know I'm not alone in seeing potential. Also nice that someone else is doing it so I don't have to. Hahaha

@Mary Ratliff: I was unaware this existed. Interesting.

He-Man was such a bizarre, campy property, what with the acid-trip mashup of high-tech with furry underwear, magical ray-guns (WTF) and page-boy haircuts.

The sky is black at night because it's dark out.

@Bigdamnhero: YES! High-five! That is exactly what I had in mind when I wrote those. Thank you for picking up on that! :D

@kake81: Aiyiyi. Well now there's a mental picture that won't go away. Damn, I had it all nicely dismissed, too. Hahaha. Yeah, sounds like what I would call a weird time, and I know from weird.

@kake81: No offense, but I rather suspect the chemical reactions you describe had more to do with what was within your body than anything without.

I was okay with the first movie. A movie that has Eva Mendez running around looking curvaceously pouty can get away with a lot in my book. Hell, even The Spirit sucked a little less for that reason alone.

@Arken: It's a man thing. If you can't take a punch in the face from your DAD, who can you take a punch in the face from? A man needs to make sure his son can take the abuse, or he hasn't done his duty.
