This House is absolutely bonkers nuts. I'm more and more convinced we live in the bizarro world timeline for most of my adult life. Calling for peace in a conflict with disproportionate force being used to kill masses of civilians does not deserve a vote of censure.

I disagree with Rep Tlaib on many, many things. On this I firmly believe she has a right to stand in opposition to One State offering financial assistance to another State for what is increasingly violence hidden behind hatred.

Also:

And these 22 Dems will stand with Israel, after they’ve killed more civilians, as they take an even more active role in the, “security,” in Gaza. More apartheid. More suffering. More rationing of fuel, water, basic life necessities.

That’s too kind for them. They joined the Party that voted to overthrow our representative government, in order to chastise a woman trying to make sure American ideals of freedom and liberty (theoretical ideas, at best) are promoted in the world. A ROLE WE PLAY ALL THE TIME

22 Democrats supporting the censure resolution

Yeah, I noticed it since it was first reported, which didnt really mention if they were working as direct contractors to Bioware or just part of another company that had a contract with Bioware (and now we know its the latter)

  • Greene could probably credibly claim that no one would mistake her attack as a statement of fact.

🤣 what an amusing little comment that means absolutely nothing.

No, he gets no compensation from GameStop.  The stock he owns was purchased separate from his employment.  He benefits from the company doing well, yes, but he is not compensated by the company.  So he technically is working for “free” when it comes to the company, which is a lot less than the company pays its store

It’s gonna be a truly wonderful time to be on the internet when GME folds and the apes post their losses and their “How will I explain this to my wife’s boyfriend?” threads.

The employees don't benefit when they do FAR more work than he does.

🤦‍♂️his firm owns 12% of GS and he still makes money off of that. He's not working for free.

The tweet says $1,000, but the article says $10,000??

That’s an isolated shit show. Amazon is company wide.

Yeah, that's an individual and not systemic issue then. Because I've known people in a similar situation in GS and worked in a mall location myself and didn't have that issue. Your shitty DM isn't the entire company like Amazon's issues are.

Not trying “defend” Amazon, but my friend was a manager at Gamestop and she was fired for taking a pee break because when she did, a woman came in and shoplifted 3 toys while the other employee was helping another customer. The only reason they didn’t also fire the other employee was that they made less than my friend

GS employees piss in used PS5s because they can’t take breaks.

Far be it for me to defend the multi billion dollar company that owns our souls, but unilaterally Gamestop is a worse place to both shop at and work for, and always has been.

They have a long track record of deeply underpaying and abusing their employees and have built their fragile business model on shaking customers

I mean, you should probably spend the 2 minutes researching a off brand product/seller to make sure that the it’s reputable?
