I just realized Apple has got its game beat on secretive projects when Valve is in the picture. Not one company is more hush hush than Valve with what they push out. Hell, we don’t even get leaks of what could possibly be in store from them, unlike with Apple and their iphone design leaks from factories overseas.

Im pretty sure he missed Valve’s point, which is they don’t have a storefront on Apple devices nor does the storefront they do have sell apps, so the sales figures for their PC storefront entirely irrelevant. They were not at all trying to say they don't sell anything on Apple's storefront.

I mean they’d have their information, but probably not Android platforms, aka the crux of the case.

The headline of this article made me laugh uncontrollably for 2 minutes. The idea of Valve turning over any sales info is literally laughable. They’d have an easier time getting Trump’s tax returns.

I guess thats a response to the part where Valve claims its “a maker of PC games that does not compete in the mobile market or sell ‘apps’, meaning that indeed Valve does sell stuff on phones. But I agree its writing in a confusing manner. I had to re-read that too.

(Valve seems to have forgotten that it released the auto-battler Dota Underlords last year on both iOS and Android).
