Pushing back in and of itself isn’t a bad thing. Nor is losing one or so cases. But continually doing so? That shows incompetence of one type or another (either at understanding the law or how to argue it).

In general consolidation of markets into a continually smaller number of corporations isn’t great for the consumer (for instance less people making AAA games willing to try and move units based on price (i.e. competitors are selling for 70 we’re going to sell at 65). Also Microsoft is always going to be brought up in

I mean, if she can’t win the cases she brings, clearly either she is failing to adequately judge what would fall under antitrust laws or is shit at arguing the governments’ case.

Yes. But that doesn’t mean the laws actually support her case (I don’t know jack about any other one). She seems to be bad at actually winning cases. So while “Merica” is a bad reason to let MS have the deal, that doesn’t mean she managed to make a good argument for a case against them assuming their was a legal basis

What do meatpackers have to do with anti-trust laws?

I mean I don’t like the merger. But if she isn’t able to plan for and target cases she can win at least a larger amount of the time, she is indeed wasting government funds. It also seems odd that the FTC decided that Sony and Xbox were the only competitors. Even only including consoles the Switch is still a source of

It’s with their party. At least as long as I remember they have been able to get thier party in lockstep (more or less) on thier party and it’s tactics. They may not be happy with Tuberville but they aren’t going to buck his voters over him using the power he has to try to fight against what thier shrinking base is

I mean, I'm more than willing to humor arguments on Democrats also sucking. But isn't that pretty normal for an author? Seems pretty tame and the teaching gigs sounds like a bigger issue (but still not really much of an issue). Unless you are going to say that SCOTUS judges can't teach or author books while in office,

Not really surprised that the plan of the studios negotiation group (company?) is to wait for the strike to financially destroy union members. If they don’t plan on budging enough to make a deal, and feel like their clients can whether it; why would it be anything else? Not the best move to come out and say it though.

Not the most professional tweet, but a pretty fitting description of the ass none the less. Good on them for getting him held liable. Hope the employee, wife, and anyone else hurt by the shitstain is doing ok.

? Who said someone needs to control something 100% to have power?

I mean spree killer would be an accurate term for her if she took part in a killing spree.

If the crimes were unique and horrific enough to keep her in prison regardless of any rehabilitation, they should have given and kept her sentence as life without parole. Clearly they did not.

I think it's a silly unrealistic opinion to have. Prisons are effective in separating someone the the rest of the population. They tend to suck and be places of inhumanity (I would argue they don't need to be but that's not really important for the discussion of abolition of prison).

I assumed he meant only the gaming portion. MS as a full entity generally does better than Sony a full entity (what I mean is all of MS’s various divisions together likely make more than all of Sony’s various divisions (especially since some quarters Playstation is all that makes money for Sony whereas Xbox is rarely

What can I say. Being morally right doesn’t mean most people will agree with you.

That sucks, not his sentence to be stabbed so on and so on.

But that has nothing to do with the statutes and laws effecting this merger. And is in line (the total value of the company as a whole) with how most large companies act.

Have those flyers lead to any hate crime charges?

How does Kotick being in charge really effect the consumer? Don’t get me wrong, he’s a shit person, but for the most part that has had a very limited effect on the consumer.
