Well that was pointless. Even if the governor chose to issue a ban, it would just be overruled (even a more evenly matched SCOTUS likely wouldn’t rule in favore of it). It also likely wouldn’t happen since it would kill the governors career.

Glad he did what he said instead of ignoring it or trying to sweep it under the rug.
Not gonna lie; I thought he had already won his lawsuit.
I mean, at least those oil protestors aren’t also killing most pets at the shelters they run. :p
I mean, I would say PETA sucks for the blatant hypocrissy and the insistence of goodwinning half of the comparisons they make on issues that deserve more attention (this driving anyone who doesn't like comparing Sheep to Jewish folks (for instance) away).
Most breeders aren’t any better. AKC certified breeders routinely get shut down. Unless you have a personal relationship with someone who breeds dogs, I wouldn’t trust a breeders over a pet store is my point; Not that pet stores are a good alternative to a breeder.
Don't forget that they are hypocrits.
Hell, half the time they are arguing you shouldn’t have pets. So why care what PETA has to say about how you source one.
Yes. In the animated one she looked White, here she is played by a black actress. The article said people were complaining about that.
I doubt Chinese people living in China, particularly care about being white. That’s not to say anti-black isn’t common.
If I had to guess, at least over the casting hate, it may have something to do with changing the race of the main character. But, I don’t know how well the original animated movie was regarded thier (and that could also effect who wants to go see the nth Disney live action remake).
“Well... they made an arrest when Andrew Lester shot 16-year-old Ralph Yarl from behind his front door - the same manner Owens was shot - despite Lester’s self-defense claim that he was frightened by the teen.”
I mean the tech has use cases for certain things. But games don’t usually require that kind of precision for key uniqueness. If EA say planned that these would be usable and tradeable across a large number of thier games and outside of it, it would make sense (though still fairly pointless as the demand just isn't…
Eh, kind of. They can make it gard to copy the data stream. But they can’t keep you from screen capturing it.
I could be wrong, but if they are writing these off for losses it means they can use them later. So no later release or rehosting.
Not that thier point is right; but 50 minutes of the Ruby Bridges movie is likely enough to get to the parts that they took issue with. As opposed to what, a few paragraphs long poem.
“virtual creations available allowing members and players unique new opportunities for self-expression and creativity through sport and style.”
I mean, since she was a technical director back then, I would imagine she has been doing similar work on other films since then. But that’s not particularly interesting compared to having saved a bunch of lost data for a beloved film. Your right that it mostly got scrapped. To be fair, I think direct to video was the…
He didn't create Link. He wasn't incharge until (I want to say Ocarina) later games. Like the guy who gets billed as MegaMans creator (I don't think he was involved much in the first one and didn't become the lead until 2 or 3.
That’s not really true that Fox hasn’t ever reported news. The big shoes people associate with Fox don’t (Carlson, Waters, etc). But thier actual news programs when Shepard Smith was thier were generally rated as fairly accurate news programs. That’s the same gut who continually locked horns over the entertainment…
