I would say it’s less likely to be the case on MS systems just because it is slightly easier to develop on (the OS is more similar to a PC as opposed to the Unix based ones PS4 and 5 have).

Doubtfull to that extent. The modern Xbox and Playstation consoles are largely x86 computers. The major difference being that the PS5 and 4 use a Unix based OS where as Xbox uses a windows based one.
