Damn. Now this is what a tablet should be. Form factor aside (it's a personal preference, not right or wrong), that OS looks like the first true tablet UI.

@archercc: I don't know how much more effective they've been, but do you have numbers to show that they haven't detected more threats? Logically, it follows that more thorough security will increase safety. So if you want to reject the null hypothesis, you have to be the one to collect evidence proving otherwise.

I suppose some people don't think their lives are more valuable than a pat down or body scan.

Hey, if the battery lasted even a week, I'm sold. Anyone out there have a phone that lasts longer than 3 days?

Truthfully, I can't see any advantage for the consumer. But I could be missing something. Maybe it's more convenient - if opening your browser, going to a company's website, and clicking "download" is too tedious for you.

Or maybe because it isn't made by Apple

So is anyone else getting fed up with Gizmodo and their Apple infatuation? They really have turned into fanboys.

I have a first gen ipod touch and quite frankly, I've gotten tired of the iOS interface, it's gotten boring. And I know it's just a microsoft ad, but one of the very first wp7 commercials with the girl going in and out of doors describes it perfectly. I'm just tired of the single-tasking app UI and going in and out. I
