My first thoughts: uhh, why don't you just open your set of tabs in a new window?!?

Personally, I find extra firm handshakes incredibly annoying.

@exoren22: Great video! Def convinced me that tabs on top is more logical, but I still like them better below.

So this might just be me being a little ridiculous, but does anyone else feel that tabs on top doesn't make sense?

Malcolm Gladwell always seemed like an interesting character

@Lexan: I thought it would be a pretty inefficient workaround, but it was just the first thing that came to mind, short of creating a custom taskbar through rainmeter (which I didn't want to do because I like the win7 taskbar)

@Prairie Moon: Yeah, I already use that option. In win7, that triangle on the left in the picture expands to show the rest of the systray items. For instance, if I clicked it in that picture, it would then show whatever else is running (volume, wifi, battery, etc)

So I use rainmeter and I have a small systems meter that fits nicely into the win7 taskbar. I keep it on the right side away from the quick launch bar so that when applications start up, it won't clash with the icons.

Does anyone know how to make folders and subfolders retain certain views (icons, list, details, etc.) in Windows 7?
