What is with all these games recently having insane amounts of data needed just to play them? I mean, when this console cycle started years ago, most games fit comfortably at a 4-6 gb range on 1 disc. Now we have games like Max Payne 3 with 35 gbs on 2 disc's and ones like Battlefield 3 with a mandatory install for HD…

And that's how it should be, and what the the article was getting at. If your game isn't fun, no one will want to play; but if gameplay isn't the design focus, you've already taken a step in the wrong direction...

Do fighting games even need a name for their style? Most people pick their character based on design first, which is coincidentally why most fighting games have a Bruce Lee/Jackie Chan character in the roster...

That's kinda the thing, why bother saying your putting in an actual style of fighting when the game is based in the absurd, over-the-top action and stylish made gameplay? Just, it does't need it...

Tae-Kwon-Do? In a DOA game? THAT'S BULLSHIT! I mean seriously, why bother with actual fighting styles when you have flying ninjas...

Was waiting during the control ending to hear "I'm Commander Sheperd and this is my favorite..." becaause the tone was so weird.

It's an either do or don't situation...

Even knowing this won't change everything coherently wrong with the endings....

Totally worth it...

So, this sums it up then...

You could destroy in Paradise... you had to do a funky hold both triggers at intersections and stuff to do it, but you could. I agree with you though that they do need a dedicated crash mode, some of those set-ups from 3 were just... genius!

But it's EA...

As much as I should be enjoying this, I can't help but feel that something will go horribly wrong with it.

Maybe so, but the subtlety of each characters basic physical traits should have at least been considered. M. Night didn't even bother with it. Thus, not only do the actors in the movie not look the part, but they don't act it either...
