Did I shrug my privileged shoulders and say “Oopsy, oh well! I’m having a baby!” Not at all. I had to pay for an abortion pill which was expensive…

Well I'm glad it turned out roses for you but you should be able to see why not everyone would be totally ok with and able to support an accidental baby financially, not to mention other factors. Some people are not emotionally or mentally prepared to have children and raise them.
