For some reason I'm equating this roadhouse/exposition from random characters/Tina scenario to the soap opera Invitation To Love from the original series. It's like we have this minor narrative simmering just beneath the surface of our main narrative… is it real? Is it a commentary/reflection of the larger story?

I had such a huge smile on my face during that jail cell scene.. It really reminded me of why I fell in love with Lynch as a kid. Naido, Chad, the drunk (Billy?) the chirping and the noises and the drooling, Chad's reactions, the absurdity of it all. May be my favorite scene of The Return.

Baseless prediction… Janey-E is a casualty in the up-coming Las Vegas - Good v. Evil prize fight. Sonny Jim who has (currently unbeknownst to him) already lost his 'real' father and who is now orphaned will be raised by his Auntie Diane and @TheRealAgentCooper.

"I've always wanted to do a show.. with women of different generations.."

..Wrapped in plastic??

Anyone else get whet watching Bronn operate that giant crossbow? So hot.

Ugh, Bobby Cannavle is always so Bobby Cannavale. He's never not.

There's just way too much tv. It can't possibly all be watched. What's freeform? Life is so long. It's all too much.

"Balance? Yeah, just pot. I came to pot late in life, but it’s very centering for me. I’ll exercise. I’m one of those people who—my mother was on antidepressants, a lot of people in my family are on antidepressants, I’m not. I think it’s because I exercise maniacally. Exercise is a natural antidepressant. If I can’t

That's possible. For sure. But .. feels like the original recipe to me. Maybe wishful thinking.

thanks for doing the research!

Sure. True. But I'm not even talking 'context." I'm just saying that If I'm remembering correctly and that new footage of Cooper that we haven't seen yet exists we will probably/hopefully see him return to himself somewhere/sometime.

Isn't that symbol the owl (which is not what it seems)? Am I crazy?

Yeah, I 'm sure that information that The giant gave to Coop will come back into play after he transitions out of Dougie. I'm sure we'll see the real Cooper remembering or retelling that pre-exit Giant moment sooner than later.

Spoiler but not really… before The Return premiered, Showtime released a few little brief clips to tease the show.. quick little moments really.. they were moments from the show. I think it was the first time we saw any actual footage from the new series. We saw a glimpse of Hawk. We saw a flash Andy standing at

Never really knew of Vox until I started hunting for Twin Peaks recaps. They are always so perfect and spot on. I've fallen in love with Vox.

Feed the birds (Toppins) is a bad song. Just sayin.

She's less then smart. Please don't

That scene made me mad. There were a few times during that fight that Preacher was in close enough proximity to that dude to rip those headphones out. He didn't.
